SUMMARY:  A satirical letter, rendered in rebus form, supposedly from Evangelical Methodist minister Dr. George Whitefield to playwright Samuel Foote. In his 1760 play, "The Minor", Foote mimicked Dr. Whitefield, causing a public uproar. MEDIUM:  1 print : engraving.
