Assalam Aleikum, brother Mohamed..
All prais to Allah that I'm doing great and enjoying Inscape (^^,)..
I did a little search for ways to overcome this problem and how to insert SVG files into Word 2007. I found couple of suggestions were [Adobe SVG Viewer].. And then you may just drag the SVG file into the Word. It worked but not as I wanted! I'm still looking into the issue and trying to figure the editing process.
The reason why I'm trying so hard with MS Word because I think not all the busy teachers would welcome working on installing and working on a new processor! It somehow saves time.
Till next time, take care. |
Alaykom al Salam w rahmatu Allahi w barakato,
How are you dedicated teacher? I hope all going well with you as well.
Unfortunately, MS Word does not understand SVG. However, the free office suite openoffice.org does understand and can actually edit svg files. Click on insert->picture->from file.
Try downloading and using it. Let me know if you're application cannot be done in openoffice and you need MS Office, may be we can find a workaround.
Good luck,
Mohamed |

Well, all thanks are to you brother Mohamed.. You introduced me to this great programme. I feel as an expert when working with those lines and curves (^^,) although I still have a lot to learn.
Thanks again for your great support. I think now I can work on improving the previous contributions.
Take care,

I released the automatic vectorization tool yesterday, and it is converting all your stuff now... Some of them might need little touch ups with inkscape after but they are coming out nice. |
You have an amazing work in here. Keep it up. |
Thanks for adding me. |
Thanks to your advice.
BTW, I added your web to my modest blog. |
That looks way better. |
