There are three main ways to activate and deactivate the tools within xScope. Once the application is running, you can invoke a tool via its floating tool bar by clicking on the tool you would like to use. You can also access tools via menu bar icons which may be turned on or off from the main xScope preferences panel. The most powerful way to turn tools on or off is via user-definable hot keys.
